Indonesian student Scholarship recipient at Melbourne University are freed from allegations of sexual harassment

The University of Melbourne, said there was no evidence of sexual harassment that were allegedly committed by student with the initials IM. Meanwhile in Indonesia, on hi previous campus, there were at least 30 women who reported allegations of sexual harassment against him.


Ibrahim Malik (IM), a student from Indonesia who received a scholarship at Melbourne University has just returnedback to Indonesia after completing his studies.
He has been cleared from sexual harrassment allegation from Melbourne University.  However his case in Indonesia seems to be continued.

Lawyer Meila Nurul Fajriah, from the Yogyakarta Legal Aid Institute who representing the victims in Indonesia discussed this issue including her disappointment over the University of Melbourne's decision not to take any action against IM
