Alfira O'Sullivan, founder and artistic director of Suara Indonesia Dance, will perform Jejak & Bisik, which explores her various roles, experiences, and physical changes, particularly as a dancer. Through her culturally rich dance, Alfira seeks to give voice to collective rituals grounded in her personal memories as a woman, such as bodily changes, aging, and perimenopause.

At Sydney fest 50th anniversary in 2026 two Indonesian dancers, Alfira O’Sullivan and Murtala will showcase their newly commissioned works Sisa-Sisa i. Sisa-Sisa which consist of two works, Jejak & Bisik will be performed by Alfira and Gelumbang Raya by Murtala will be staged at the Sydney Arts Centre, on the 23 and 24 of January.
