A systematic review has examined the role of music as a tool to support the wellbeing of children and adolescents.


The review also pointed to the factors that make a music learning program effective for the wellbeing outcomes of young people - across different settings, whether in a school or as a community initiative.

The outcomes include improved confidence and social connectedness, as well as increased humour and a stronger ability to deal with stress.
