After undergoing a medical procedure or taking certain medications, we are often advised against activities such as driving or performing tasks that could put us at risk. Also, never pull anything off a burn wound.

Despite having been hospitalized for a month, Niniek Trahar has not yet been cleared to go home. About a month ago, the Melbourne resident suffered burns to her right hand.

So, how did the accident happen? It turns out that the day after having a molar extracted—a time when she should have avoided activities like cooking—Niniek decided to fry something. However, she fainted, and her hand fell into a pan of hot cooking oil.

What happened next? Why does Niniek have to remain in the hospital? And what is the status of the burns on her hand?

Niniek Trahar discusses all of this, along with other related details, in her interview with SBS Indonesian.
