As NAIDOC Week celebrations approach (7-14 July) Jack Collard, an Indigenous student from the University of Western Australia and New Colombo Plan Indigenous Fellow (2019) talks about the Noongar people.

Why is it important for the Australian nation to celebrate NAIDOC Week?  What is distinctive about the land of the Noongar people?  What about Noongar stories, totems and social structure?  Jack Collard prepares us to celebrate NAIDOC Week by introducing us to his people, the Noongar people.
