Oral cancer is very prevalent in Asia. It is also common in Australia. But somehow oral cancer is seldom spoken about.
Dr Elizabeth Fitriana Sari, is a lecturer in Oral Health at La Trobe University regional campus in Bendigo. To mark World Cancer Day, she explained why the incidence of oral cancer is life-style related, and why those life-style factors are different in Australia and Indonesia.
