There are concerns that migrants who were directed to live in South Australia under the government's regional migration rules are now stranded without the support needed during the pandemic.

South Australia is the home to Safe Haven Enterprise visa holders - nearly 1,400 migrants are directed to South Australia.

Data from the Skills Minister for South Australia revealed that there are more than 5,000 migrants living in South Australia on skilled work visas. and many are now unemployed despite their skills.

These skilled work visa holders are now pleading with the Government to qualify them for a wage subsidy as they struggle to make ends meet without having a job due to Covid-19.
