The Multicultural Walking Groups program run by Anglicare NT in Darwin is becoming a crucial means for refugees and new migrants to build social connections amid escalating global conflict.
Through weekly activities supported by the STEPS educational institution, participants from countries such as Sri Lanka, China, and Congo can practice English skills and interact with the local population in an inclusive atmosphere.

This initiative not only helps with the process of integration and social cohesion in the Northern Territory of Australia, but also provides a sense of belonging and emotional support for entrants starting new lives from scratch without being burdened with the cost of language education.
