The Dancer - Memory Of My Body

Choreographer and dancer and star of the film 'Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku' ('Memories Of My Body') talks about how the film depicts the different tensions in the different phases of his development from a village boy into an internationally renowned Lengger dancer.

Why does Rianto describe the film ‘Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku’ (‘Memories Of My Body’)  as being about his “bodiness?”  What does the film explore about the tension between the masculine and feminine in a man? Why is the film about more than one Rianto? Rianto talks about his part in the film which on the night the 29^th November won the Cultural Diversity Award at the 2018 Asia Pacific Screen Awards in Brisbane.
