Dian Puspita Triani a PhD candidate in astronomy at Swinburne University explains why the recent discovery of a mini moon is so important to us.


The recent discovery of a mini moon came about by accident.  It is small and will not be around for long but surveying such phenomena is important to our understanding of the universe and also to our security.
