The HuRU-hARa program at ASIATOPA 2020 had a unique inter-cultural spirit. Fitri DK and Bayu Widodo from the Survive!garage Art Collective came to Australia to contribute to huRU-hARa with a number of other Indonesian artists who were also keen to share and collaborate with their South East Asian and Australian counterparts. Bayu and Fitri explain why they choose to be art workers and the importance of art in people’s life.
