What do they think about Australia Day and how do they celebrate it?

SBS Indonesian asks three Australians, with Indonesian backgrounds, about what Australia Day is to them.

Thia Taylor has lived in Australia for more than 20 years. Gold Coaster and the mother of three says that there are other things, aside from sausage sizzle, that can be done during the commemoration of Australia Day.

The dentist now living in Sydney, Valeria Julianto, has been an Australian citizen since she was in year 12. She says that there are some things she usually always do together with her friends and close relatives.

Surya Setiyaputra says that he decided to renounce his Indonesian citizenship in 2010, when he felt that Australian passport would make it easier for him to travel abroad without a visa. The software developer says that he has his own view on Australia Day since learning more about Australian history.
