Australia will seek the revenge against Italy, 13 years later

Next year in France the two nations will square off again in a FIFA World Cup match. The last time it happened, at Germany 2006, a controversial referee decision allowed the Azzurri to go all the way and win the trophy.

The Matildas, who have been seeded for the FIFA Women's World Cup for the first time, have been drawn in the group C featuring Brazil, Jamaica and Italy.
