The World’s Best Restaurant 2019: a handful of Italians but no Australian on the list

Massimo Bottura's Osteria Francescana did not appear on this year's list. Australian Attica dropped from 20 to 84, and Brae from 58 to 101.

The 50 Best Restaurants for 2019 were announced Tuesday 25th June 2019 in Singapore.
Mirazur has been  announced as the No.1 and chef Mauro Colagreco received the award bringing four flags on stage: the Argentinian flag, to symbolize the country he was born, the Italian flag to celebrate his cultural heritage, the Brasilian flag as a homage to his Brazilian wife and the French flag to celebrate the country that gave him celebrity.
