A celebration of tango and its rich history

The Ventana Fiesta Latin Arts Festival will involve again various Italian artists, one of whom will present a special show dedicated to tango.


The Ventana Fiesta Latin Arts Festival 2020 will host among others the band Santa Taranta, artist Laura Cionci, and the Melbourne School of Tarantella.

Santa Taranta's Salvatore Rossano, a musician and ethnomusicologist, will also present a new show, Postcards of Tango, which will present the history of this dance and music and its significance in Buenos Aires and Montevideo.

"A cast of 12 musicians, six dancers and two visual artists will bring this story to life for the first time in Melbourne"
