A European Project against Female Genital Mutilation

The Before Project promotes the fight against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Europe, where the practice has spread among new migrants following the recent wave of arrivals.

Differenza Donna (Italy), No Peace Without Justice (Italy), Institut de Santé Génésique – ISG (France), La Palabre (Belgium), with the support of the European Union, are launching in Italy, France and Belgium the BEFORE Project to promote a deep political and cultural change and to strengthen the role of women in the fight against FGM.
