After thirty years at the helm of the Italian Cricket Federation, outgoing President Simone Gambino has stepped aside. His successor is Fabio Marabini, a former player and manager of the Lombardy federation. In these thirty years cricket in Italy has made leaps and bounds, from a sport that 99% of the population did not even know to one of the most practiced, albeit at an amateur level, also achieving prestigious international wins. We interviewed both the outgoing president and his successor.
