A Sydney resident Italian man has been stuck in South America for weeks as he tries to return to Australia.
After obtaining his Australian residency last October, Alessio Causarano decided to treat himself and his Brazilian girlfriend with a lengthy holiday in South America.
What started as an amazing trip suddenly became a source of anxiety after the global outbreak of COVID-19. Now Alessio is stuck in Brazil and he's frantically looking for a way to come back to Australia.
