Specifically, Simone is a linesman and Alex a central referee. They are currently the only Italian-born referees in Queensland. We talked about their activity and the differences between being a ref in Italy and Australia, without forgetting the tough physical preparation they undergo and their hopes of being able to one day referee in the A-League or in international competitions.

Simone Trentino and Alex Ruso are two young Italians who have lived in Queensland for some years, where they study and work. But the two are also football referees in the state's National Premier League.
