Pope Francis said that sexual abuse on minors is a widespread plague in the Church. He added that in the ecclesiastical context this inhumanity is even more serious.
The Pope said this in his closing speech on the four-day summit on the protection of minors. Pope Francis has promised that every single case will be dealt with with the utmost seriousness.
