While the number of people infected with the coronavirus has exceeded 75,000 and the victims have risen to over two thousand, the situation on board the Diamond Princess is worsening.


The situation on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship (the main outbreak of Covid-19 outside China) is still critical, not only from a medical but also from a psychological point of view, since passengers for more than two weeks have been stranded at the port of Yokohama without being able to exit the ship, with the number of infected people continuing to rise. We talked about it with Mariapia Degli-Esposti, professor of Immunology at Monash University in Melbourne and head of the laboratory of Experimental Immunology in Melbourne and Perth.
