"A second wave was expected in the Autumn with the reopening of shops, schools, restaurants and pubs, but the acceleration is higher than expected: on the last day the confirmed cases exceeded 14 thousand", says London-based journalist Nicol Degli Innocenti.


The second wave of COVID-19 in Britain is concerning authorities, especially in cities in the north of England, where harsh lockdown measures are already in place.
