Dominica Watt loves the Italian language, food and wine.

Her affair with "la bella lingua" started when she spent some time in a small village near Caserta at 16, where she attended high school to study Italian.

She had no idea what a dialect was, until she got there.

Besides English and German, Dominica speaks fluent Italian, because "knowing a language means you are actually able to communicate with someone from another culture, they open to you if you speak their language".

When someone asked her "why do you speak a language that is only used in one country" she replied: "Italian is spoken everywhere!".
