The Chinese government has criticised comments made by Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton as shocking, and a malicious slur. Mr Dutton said China's actions often conflict with Australian values and democratic forms of government. He's accused the Chinese government of stealing intellectual property, being behind cyber-attacks on Australian targets, and muzzling free speech. Prime Minister Scott Morrison is trying to downplay Mr Dutton's remarks.
