NSW firefighters have saved the last of the so-called "dinosaur trees" remaining in the wild after dousing the Wollemi National Park with fire retardant.


Senior Principal Research Scientist at the Royal Botanic Gardens Maurizio Rossetto tells SBS Italian how the "military style" operation saved the endangered Wollemi pine.
