Fire resumes between Israel and Hamas

A dangerous escalation of violence has hit the area in the last hours.

The Israeli army on Tuesday (March 26, 2019) bombed several targets in the Gaza Strip as a retaliation of a rocket destroying a house in Tel Aviv that has been launched within the Gaza territory.

Palestinian militants responded with rocket fire. The violence is likely to become a major theme in the final stretch of a election campaign in Israel.
