The beloved Brunswick St café institution has celebrated 40 years with the launch of "Marios 40th Anniversary" book.
Forty years ago, a venue destined to become an icon of one of Melbourne’s most grunge streets opened its doors on Brunswick Street.
Mario Maccarone and Mario De Girolamo joined forces to create Marios, a café-restaurant that has remained true to Italian tradition.
On the day of the celebrations, the two owners presented their Marios 40th Anniversary Book, a testament to four decades alongside famous customers, musicians, and regular patrons.
