The TAV project, the controversial railway line for freight and passenger transport between Turin and Lyon, is affecting the Italian political debate.

But it also involves France, and President Emmanuel Macron had something to say on the matter himself.

What is his position on the issue, also in light of a recent diplomatic war between France and Italy?
