The annual summit meeting of the Group of 20 - the international forum for the governments and central bank governors from 19 countries and the European Union - takes place today and tomorrow in Osaka.
The G20 group aims to promote international financial stability, although there are a number of challenges - not least the burgeoning trade war between China and the United States.

With escalating trade, technology and security disputes - and the ongoing struggle to win hearts, minds and territory in the Pacific - dominating the Osaka Summit, Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison knows the country will be under pressure to ‘step up’ in other ways too.
