The Milano-Sanremo and the Flèche Wallonne were both won by Frenchman Julien Alaphilippe, fellow countrymen Philippe Gilbert triumphed in the Paris-Roubaix, Italian Alberto Bettiol won the Tour of Flanders and Dane Jakob Fugslang came first in the Liège-Bastogne-Liège.
