A Sarajevo native, Goran Bregović rose to continental prominence as lead guitarist of Bijelo dugme, one of the biggest bands of the Yugoslav rock scene.
He then started to compose soundtracks for films, in particular three of Emir Kusturica's movies (Time of the Gypsies, Arizona Dream, and Underground).
Bregović will play in Brisbane on May the 9th, Adelaide the 10th, Perth the 12th, Sydney the 13th and Melbourne 14th.
