Born in Armidale, NSW, Hannah Fraser studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and graduated from Sydney University. She moved to Italy and in 2018 was selected with other 14 international students to study at the prestigious Academy of Belcanto Rodolfo Celletti in Martina Franca.
In 2017 Hannah made her operatic debut in Austria and the Czech Republic as part of the Prague Summer Nights Festival where she performed the challenging role of Cherubino in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro.
Hannah is the granddaughter of former prime minister Malcolm Fraser, whose government established the Special Broadcasting Service in the late 1970s which remains today one of the most powerful symbols of multiculturalism. In this interview Hannah reveals some intimate moments of her relationship with her grandfather.

Hannah Fraser's concerts in Sydney will be on 7 December at the Bowning's Crisp Gallery, 8 December at the All Saints Anglican Church in Canberra, 13 December at the Christ Church of Lavander Bay, and 14 December at the Blackheath Uniting Church. With soprano Susannah Lawergren accompanied by pianist Alessio Nelli she will perform compositions by Monteverdi, Massenet, Meyerbeer, Bizet, Saint -Saëns, Offenbach and Delibes.
