Today, 9 December, the prestigious Orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino celebrates its 90th birthday.
The Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra (MMFO) was founded in 1928 by maestro Vittorio Gui. Since then, almost 500 different world renowned conductors have had the pleasure of performing with the MMFO around the world. The CEO of the MMF Christiano Chiarot talks about the history of one of the great orchestras of the world.
