Winner of the of the most prestigious literary prize in Italy two years ago, the author reflects on the theme of the Turin International Book Fair 2020.


In Italy, the Turin International Book Fair is the most important annual event for professionals and book enthusiasts.

Like all other public events scheduled in the last 3 months, in 2020 the fair will be entirely digital.

The theme chosen for the 33rd edition is 'Other life forms'. According to the writer Helena Janeczek "Literature itself is another form of life".

Winner of the Strega Prize in 2018, Janeczek told SBS Italian how the coronavirus pandemic has changed the present by offering new opportunities.
