Taralli are a typical Apulian specialty, which can be eaten as snacks or appetisers. They can be plain or flavoured with fennel seeds or chilly, and they are definitely moreish. According to Giuseppe Fuzio, head chef at Sydney restaurant Chiosco by Ormeggio, they are not too hard to prepare either, they just take a bit of patience.
