Enrico says that his latest discovery has led him and his team "to develop a transparent coating that can pass light and at the same time conduct electricity". This need arises from the fact that at the moment on the market you can find coatings made of a very expensive material and with a method that is just as expensive. "So the idea was to get the same results using a very simple clinical syntheses instead," he says.
This research activity led him and his team to develop this material which is applied in a similar way to spray paint using a synthesis of materials readily available on the market.
