Martino Malerba, originally from Milan, was 17 when he came to Australia for the first time, thanks to a cultural exchange.

At that time he already knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. To make his dream come true he then came down under to attend the University in Townsville, where he studied marine biology.

For 12 years Martino has settled in Australia, and has never left.
