In Brisbane the other 'Paralympics' for athletes with an intellectual impairment

47 countries and1,000 elite athletes with an intellectual impairment are competing in Brisbane for the INAS Global Games 2019. We spoke with the head of the Italian delegation, Professor Gaspare Majelli.

The INAS Golobal Games opened last Saturday (12 October) and will conclude next Saturday.

The Games fea­ture 10 sports and 200 medal events. They represent the largest mul­ti­cul­tur­al, mul­ti­sport, inter­na­tion­al event to ever be staged in Queens­land fol­low­ing the Gold Coast 2018 Com­mon­wealth Games.
