Islamic State has claimed responsibility for last Sunday's attack on Italian soldiers in Iraq. In the explosive attack five men were wounded, three of them in serious condition. Middle East correspondent, Michele Giorgio, reports.
The attack, the General Staff of Defense reports, took place on the morning of November 10th when an IED, a rudimentary explosive device, detonated the passage of a mixed team of Italian special forces in Iraq. The team was carrying out training activities on behalf of the Iraqi security forces engaged in fighting ISIS. The attack took place around 11 am, in the area of Suleymania, in Iraqi Kurdistan.
