The leader of the New Centre-Right, Angelino Alfano, Interior Minister in the Renzi government, said he wanted to work for a "re-aggregation of the moderate area for the millions of Italians who do not want to vote for the Democratic Party and seeking a new political reference". We asked Forza Italy senator Lucio Malan, a former colleague of Alfano's in the Party, if the hope of a rapprochement between NCD and FI is realistic.
