A day to promote the work of Italian scientists and researchers in the world and the value of international scientific collaboration.

The Italian Research Day is an initiative launched in 2018 by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research to promote the work of Italian scientists and researchers in the world and the value of international scientific collaboration.

The official day, 15th of April, corresponds to the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci.

On April 17 (2019) at the Mathematical Sciences Institute, four Italian scientists took part live from Padua (Italy) to the Italian Research Day. They accompanied the public into the SPIDER laboratory, describing the wonder of the experiment. The SPIDER laboratory is open to collaboration with international scientists.
