Brunello, a diminutive of Bruno ("brown"), is the name that was given locally to what was believed to be an individual grape variety grown in Montalcino. Produced in the vineyards surrounding the town of Montalcino,80 km south of Florence, Brunello is definitely on of Italian most renowned wines, so that music icon Sting has started some years ago a successful production.
