Specialized in patient care, Layla is a star with her own Instgram profile.

When Layla, a two-and-a-half-year-old German shepherd, began attending her owners' medical office, it was difficult to imagine that she would soon become a fundamental part in patient care.

Given her aptitude for comforting people and her extreme sociability, she immediately demonstrated that she had the characteristics to become a "therapy dog" as Dr. Cristina Morganti Kossman, her owner, told SBS Italian.

Today she is the first certified therapy dog in Australia and in her field she is a star, with her own an Instagram profile: layla.the.therapy.dog.
