If you saw the Italian movies "Perfect strangers", "Immature" and "The last will be the last" - shown here in Australia as part of the Lavazza Italian Film Festival - our next guest will sound - literally - familiar.
Maurizio Filardo is the author of the soundtracks of those films - and many others - as well as the producer of singers such as Daniele Silvestri and Arisa. Maestro Filardo will be the musical director of the Sanremo Giovani World Tour, the traveling show that brings some of the so-called "new proposals" of the festival around the world. The Australian leg will be in Sydney on April 6th.
During the event, Sydney-based Italian singer-songwriter Lorenzo Santangelo will also sing, while the master of ceremonies will be actor Mirko Grillini.
The show, produced by Claudio Baglioni and Maestro Filardo himself, includes original pieces and famous covers. The show is free, but you need to book in advance.
