Born in Oliveri - in the province of Messina - Nello Pellegrino left Sicily at 16 to emigrate to Sydney with his mother and two brothers and reunite with his father, who emigrated 4 years earlier, and the three older brothers who had previously arrived. This is his story.

Nello Pellegrino came to Australia in 1962. Hed went on to become the president of the historic Club Marconi in Sydney.
