In New South Wales, students at a famous school for girls in Sydney are in self isolation after a student tested positive for COVID19.

Syndey Girls School, in the suburb of Surry Hills, has been closed and will undergo a thorough cleanup while the contact tracing process takes place.

All staff members and students have been asked to self isolate as this process continues.

The girl's case will be among the official numbers to be released by the government today.

Residents in metropolitan Melbourne are subject to stay-at-home orders and can only leave home for food and essential supplies, work, study, exercise or care responsibilities. People are also advised to wear masks in public.

People in Australia must stay at least 1.5 metres away from others. Check your state’s restrictions on gathering limits.
