Opera Australia has stunned critics and opera lovers with the new challenging and artistic production of Giacomo Puccini’s Madama Butterfly by director and choreographer Graeme Murphy.


Opera Australia’s use of the new digital set of 10 massive LED screens and the double revolving set bring a new futuristic dimension into Puccini’s masterpiece that must be seen to be fully appreciated.

Italian conductor Massimo Zanetti talks enthusiastically of Graeme Murphy’s production and, in this interview, he says that this is one of the best Madama Butterfly’s productions he has seen in his long worldwide career.
