Starting from an extensive pollination observation work which lasted 3 weeks to understand in detail the reproductive strategies adopted by cross- pollinated species, Andrea Aromatisi and Daniela Scaccabarozzi have contributed to research to preserve and develop the understanding over the Vanilla Orchid in the Peruvian Amazonian forest.

The project aims also to implementing local economy by providing the means to social cooperatives to harvest the species to produce vanilla.
