Italian actor and chef Mirko Grillini is part of a stellar Italian-Australian cast, including Paul Mercurio and Tina Arena, featuring "Promised".
Set in Melbourne in 1953, the movie tells the story of five year old Robert and newborn Angela who are promised in marriage by their fathers, Sal and Joe. Against the misgivings of Angela’s mother, Sal is insistent that he must uphold his promise to Joe, a connected man.
