Landed in the Chinese capital after returning from a trip to Italy, the reporter was placed in quarantine in his Beijing apartment.

In fact, due to new provisions issued by the Chinese government, anyone who has gone to countries considered to be at risk of coronavirus infection must spend fourteen days at home, without contact with the outside world.
